Artists Looking for Grants? Here Is Where To Apply

In an effort to continually support artists and their work, here is information about open calls with deadlines for artists and resource links to check for available opportunities throughout the year.

Oolite Arts
Open Calls for Artists

Applications are being accepted for Studio Residency with 24-hour access to studio space and $15,000 and Home + Away travel residency to South Africa, Texas or Massachusetts with $500 stipend for US residencies and $4,000 stipend for international residency.

Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places
North Bay Village Hall and Safety Complex

Open to professional visual artists to develop proposals for unique artwork designs that contribute to the identity of the facility and engage the employees and the visiting public.

Application Deadline: Sept. 22, 2025, 11:59 p.m.

Miami International Airport

Dolphin, Flamingo and Ibis Garages

Proposals are being accepted to create a landmark garage cladding-screening artwork design for all three garages. Shortlisted artists receive a proposal stipend and travel allowance and commissioned artist must commit to availability and participation with project team for at least four years.

Visual and Media Artists Grant

Visual and media artists awarded $7,500 and $15,000

Open Call for All

Project proposals that engage the community in South Florida through poetry during the annual Poetry Festival in April are now being accepted.

South Arts Jazz Roads Tours
Fall 2025 Application Cycle

The grant program supports approximately 50 jazz artists annually with individual grants up to $15,000 and organizing three-to-six-site tours at a variety of venues, with a particular focus on rural and underserved communities.

Quarterly Grants Program

Open to small to medium-scale community-based cultural programs, projects and events, including fairs, parades, neighborhood festivals, conferences and publications.
